SOLE LOVED
On July 30th, 2016- We had the honor of participating in The Hope on The Brazos- Back to School Event. This annual event is pretty amazing!! It's sponsored by our local school district-LCISD to assist children who are eligible for assistance in Title 1 schools. All children were given backpacks filled with school supplies, school uniforms and SHOES!!! We were SO thrilled to participate, and gifted out hundreds and hundreds of pairs of beautiful shoes!! It was really amazing!!! But, the smiles on their sweet faces said it all! We hope to participate in many more events like this one in the future! If you are planning an event locally, and would like Sole Loved to assist in gifting new or gently used shoes-please contact us via social media, by phone or email. We will make it happen!!!

On Saturday, August 27th, Sole Loved partnered with our good friends-Kylie's Prayer to love on the people of Richmond/Rosenberg! What a great night of food, music, laughter and shoes!!!! I'm so grateful for ALL the continued shoe donations from family, friends and neighbors. Without you, Sole Loved would not be possible! Kylie's Prayer is a local non-profit that serves Houston and Richmond/Rosenberg's homeless and underpriveleged! They gather the last Saturday of every month! If you would like to volunteer or donate items, we would love to have you join us! Feel free to bring clothes, books, toys, toiletry items, food and more! Or, just bring yourself! It's always a great night of fun and fellowship. I love seeing all the smiles at the end of the night....not only from our local friends, but also on the faces of our volunteers!

On Wednesday, September 7th- Sole Loved was represented by one of my dearest and sweetest friends, Carie Lawson through Montrose Street Reach!! Every Wednesday night @6:30pm, Montrose Street Reach serves at least 120 street kids and older homeless individuals in Houston-giving practical assistance, while instilling Christian values. I hate that I couldn't be there with them this time...but LOVE hearing all the amazing stories-and seeing all the smiling faces! This is what it's all about, folks! Thank you, Carie AND Montrose Street Reach for bringing Sole Loved to the streets of Houston. My heart is so full! I can't wait for the day when I can join you out there!!! Please keep the donations coming, friends! We need YOU!
